Climate Situation
Forests are our best ally in fighting climate change, but there is a growing concern over all forest
projects in terms of accountability, transparency and permanence.
If wildfires and deforestation continues, we could have phased out the use of fossil fuels by end of the
year and we would still be on the path of climate disaster.
When a mature forest disappear due to deforestation or wildfire all the carbon stock sequestered over
the years is released into the atmosphere.
When forests are burned or cut down the natural water cycle system is in distress, causing
desertification, extreme drought and powerful windstorms events.
Worsening fires are part of a downward spiral of human-induced climate change in which
carbon dioxide emissions warm the planet and create conditions conducive to more fires
and more emissions.

Close the Gap
Forest Guardian is a pioneering solution that uses a series of sensors, radars, and advanced technologies to proactively monitor and protect forests from wildfires, illegal logging, and deforestation. This innovative approach sets a new standard in forest management, offering a reliable and transparent climate change solution.

Target Audience
Private or public entities who want to
anchor the most transparent and
proactive climate action in their
business model.

Cost Savings
Avoiding large emissions from existing carbon stock
and removing CO2 from the atmosphere.

Easy to Use
Reliable and permanent climate change
solutions which are transparent and
easy to quantify.

Research
The world’s forests contain more carbon than exploitable oil, gas and
coal deposits, hence avoiding forest carbon emission is just important
and urgent as halting fossil fuel use.
Abstract
Improving the management of existing forests is a critical part of
climate change mitigation, with substantial additional benefits,
including reducing air pollution, avoiding droughts, buffering against
flooding, and conserving biodiversity.
Design
Forest Guardian is using a series of sensors, radars and other advanced technologies to monitor the health of the forest in real-time. This unique solution is the first proactive method that leverages technology and well- trained forest rangers to address the growing threat of wildfires and deforestation.
